August Ascendance

The August, the protectors of the border region before the Great Void, are suffering from internal strife. While the Concert is occupied with issues with the mining colonies seeking for better representation, a ship that was thought lost returns from the edge of the Great Void. This ship was carrying the mightiest of the August: the likely successor to the leadership of the Order.

But something has changed during a sudden and mysterious absence. He has looked into the Great Void and the Great Void has looked back, marking him forever.

August Ascendance is an ongoing writing project, and planned as a riveting science fiction novella with inspiration from Babylon 5 and Star Wars, Asimov's Foundation-series, The Expanse, and even Starship Troopers.
