Teo Kuusela also acts as Dungeon Master for poor souls seeking adventure and loot. He has been DMing 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons since early 2015, starting with a campaign in a homebrew setting that went on to grow into the expanding world of Asrakhor. The streamed campaign STD&D, which is hosted by the streamer The Seppola, is also based in this same world, which continues to be shaped by the experiences of adventurers.
Teo's style of DMing has been strongly influenced by popular figures such as Chris Perkins, Stephen Lumpkin and Adam Koebel, with priority being on enjoyable co-operative storytelling rather than strict adherence to rules and nitpicking over rolls.
The World of Asrakhor
The world of Asrakhor is a homebrew setting, combining interesting elements from official D&D settings such as Greyhawk, Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms and Eberron, while being independently inspired by fantasy fiction such as The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, Chronicles of Narnia, A Song of Ice and Fire. Roleplaying games series, such as Dragon Age, also influence the feel of the campaign world.
Asrakhor is a world embroiled in turmoil as the planes are shifting, dragons are returning from a long isolated slumber, an Empire of Hobgoblins is rising from ashes that have been left still for thousands of years, and great wars and times of turmoil are wreaking havoc on Human, Elf and Dwarven kingdoms.
What better time and place for adventurers to make their name and shape the future of the very ground they walk on.
